In this presentation and we’re going to enter an adjusting entry related to insurance recording prepaid insurance and insurance expense. Let’s get into it with Intuit QuickBooks Online. Here we are in our get great guitars file, we’re going to be opening up our reports. First, we’re going to go down to the reports on the bottom left. So we’re going to be opening up our favorite report that being the balance sheet report changing the dates up top from a one on one to zero, this time to our cutoff date at Oh to 29 to zero.

Accrued Interest Adjusting Entry 10.15

This presentation we will enter and adjusting entry related to accrued interest. Let’s get into it with Intuit QuickBooks Online. Here we are in our get great guitars file. We’re going to start off by opening up our reports. Once again, we’re going to go to the reports on the bottom left hand side, we’re opening up the trusty balance sheet or our favorite report the balance sheet, not the trustee trial balance the balance sheet up top, we’re going to go back up top, we’re going to change dates from 1012020 229 to zero, remembering that this is the cutoff date that we want to enter our adjusting entries as of we’re going to go back up top and then duplicate the tab by right clicking on it and duplicating it.

Bank Reconciliation First Month Part 2 9.11

In this presentation, we’re going to continue on with our bank reconciliation for the first month, part two, we’re going to be focusing in on the decreases this time last time we focused in on the deposits. So if you want to open the balance sheet, I won’t go through it, but you can open the report to the balance sheet, and then and then duplicate the tab as we’ve done in the past. Payroll 8.80

This presentation and we’re going to enter payroll for the second month of operations. Recall that we’re not going to be entering payroll using the QuickBooks system. We will do that in a future presentation, we’ll get into more detail in payroll in and of itself, we don’t want to add the added feature of payroll, which costs more into our practice problem here, we will be imagining we have a third party processing the payroll like a ADP or a paychecks, we’re going to be getting the register from them, then we need to enter that information somehow into our system. So our financial statements then reflect the payroll information.

Enter Bills & Pay Bills 8.70

In this presentation, we will enter bills and then to pay bills. In other words, we’re going to be entering some of the standard kind of bills, we would have monthly, like a phone bill and the utility bill, this time entering them in as bills and then going through and paying them all at one time with the pay bills feature. Let’s get into it with Intuit QuickBooks Online. Here we are in our get great guitars file, we’re first going to take a look at the flowchart which is going to be on the desktop version just to get an idea of what we will be doing, we’re going to be entering the standard kind of bills like the phone bill and utility bill and so on and so forth.

So we’re going to go down to the reports on the left, we’re going to be opening up once again that trust the trial balance, we’re going to type that in and the find reports here trial balance, we’re going to be opening up the trial balance here, then I’m going to be changing the name up top. So I’m going to scroll up top to get to that dates. I’m not not the name, the date, I’m going to change the date from Oh 10120 to 1230 120, January through December 2020. Run that report.

Make Loan Payments 8.05

In this presentation, we will make loan payments with the help and the use of an amortization schedule. Let’s get into it with Intuit QuickBooks Online. Here we are in our get great guitars file, we’re going to start off by opening up our reports down below, we’re going to be opening up three reports. This time, we’re going to be opening up the balance sheet report, our favorite report the balance sheet reports, we’re going to scroll back up top, change the dates from 1120 to 1231 to zero, then we’re going to go ahead and run that report. Then I’m going to go back up top and duplicate the tabs. I’m going to right click on the tab, I’m going to duplicate that tab. Going back to the left and we’re going to do this again. We’re going to go back down to the reports down below. We’re going to be opening up the profit and loss our second favorite report the profit and loss, the p&l the income statement, we’re going to be changing the dates up top again.

Enter Check & Expense Forms 7.55

This presentation and we will enter check and expense forms, we’re basically going to go through the month in kind of information or checks or expenses, we would have typical expenses such as the utility bill, the phone bill, and so on and so forth. Think about how we can enter that into the system, either as checks or Expense Type forms. If we were to actually write the check, or possibly if we had some kind of electronic transfer that would happen out of our bank account, then how would we be recording that information into QuickBooks Online? Let’s get into it with Intuit.
